Record good output and scrap

Post production in parts or in one go. Each receipt consumes recipe materials, adds good output to stock, and records scrap separately.

An order for 80 candles. 50 still need making.

You have 20 finished candles on hand and another 10 already expected from an active run.

  1. Find the remaining need

    80 outstanding − 20 on hand − 10 expected = 50 candles still needing a production plan.

  2. Check and create the run

Review material availability at the workshop, then create a run for 50 good candles.

  3. Record the actual output

Record 30 good candles and 2 scrapped candles, leaving 20 good candles to make. A later receipt of 20 good candles completes the run.

The run delivers 50 usable candles. Materials used for all 52 attempted candles are recorded.

Material coverage checks current stock for each run independently. It does not reserve materials between runs.
