Allow for routine material waste
Add a waste allowance to individual recipe lines, such as wax lost during pouring. Fabriqo includes that allowance in material requirements.
Scale requirements to the batch
Check what you need for 10, 50, or 100 units. The same recipe quantities support material availability checks and recorded production consumption.
Turn one candle’s recipe into a 50-unit batch.
Each candle uses 0.2 kg of wax, one jar, and one wick. You allow 2% extra wax for normal pouring waste.

Include the wax allowance
A 2% allowance makes the wax requirement 0.204 kg per candle: 0.2 × 1.02.

The batch quantity changes. The material calculations stay consistent.
Recipes use the current material list. Updating a recipe changes future production receipts; earlier recorded consumption stays in history.
